Pack Your
Bags
You're going away!
Congratulations on your upcoming cruise! We get just as excited as you do when embarking on adventures into the deep blue. To make sure you're fully prepared, we've compiled our absolute favorite tools, including a wardrobe planner, a detailed cruise packing list, and extra resources and tips. Get ready for an unforgettable journey!

When preparing for your cruise, it’s essential to keep luggage size and weight in mind. Here are some key guidelines:
Checked and Carry-On Bags: Each checked suitcase and carry-on should not exceed 50 pounds. When laying flat, bags should measure no more than 16 inches high and 24 inches wide. Length isn’t a factor, so you have some flexibility there!
Security Screening: Ensure all luggage is unlocked to avoid delays during security checks. Locked or oversized luggage can lead to delivery hold-ups.
Toiletries: There are no restrictions on liquids for your cruise, so feel free to pack your full-size toiletries if you wish, although most cruise ships provide shampoo and body wash in the showers.
IIf you’re flying to your cruise departure point, don’t forget to follow TSA regulations, especially when it comes to weight limits and liquid restrictions (no full-size toiletries). The good news is you can still bring your favorite products by transferring them into reusable travel-size containers – perfect for your shampoo, face cream, or lotion. We've handpicked some of our favorite travel essentials, which you can find in our Amazon store here. A good rule of thumb is to pack only what you can manage on your own, as assistance may not always be available.

Remember to always pack your travel documents (passport, tickets) in your carry-on or personal item for easy access during your trip.

Use a wardrobe planner and checklist to ensure you have all items necessary to participate in your scheduled activities (snorkeling, hiking, etc). A printable planner and checklist is available here.

Reserve a bit of space in your luggage for souvenirs or items you might buy during your travels.

If you don't need air transportation to reach your cruise port, feel free to bring full-size toiletry products on board instead of buying travel-sized bottles. You won't have to worry about following the 3oz. rule in this case!

Utilize packing cubes to neatly arrange your clothes and maximize space (rolling clothes works best).
-
Fill a cube with two complete outfits, including undergarments and a swimsuit.
-
Place this cube in your carry-on to prevent any inconvenience in case your luggage is misplaced or delayed. For women, dresses or jumpsuits are the simplest items to pack.

On embarkation day, wear comfortable shoes and a comfortable outfit. *TIP- wearing your bulkier tennis shoes on embarkation and dismembarkation day will allow extra packing space in your luggage.

Always carry a packing cube with a change or two of clothes in your carry-on to prepare for delayed or lost luggage.

To avoid losing your luggage, consider placing an AirTag in each piece. This simple step can help track your bags and provide peace of mind by knowing their whereabouts.

Your cruise is booked, the excursions are scheduled! It’s time to start getting ready to pack!
