ADDITIONAL I.D. REQUIREMENTS

Your passport must be valid and must not expire within 6 months from the date of the last day of your trip.
On closed loop cruises where your cruise begins and ends in the same U.S. port, you may travel with your Birth Certificate and state ID (Drivers license or Identification card). Your Birth Certificate must be an original or official copy with a valid seal and your ID must be current.

For most cruises, children under 16 sailing on a closed-loop cruise (departing and returning to the same U.S. port) are not required to have a passport. They can typically travel with an original or certified copy of their birth certificate. However, if the cruise involves international air travel or visits certain destinations, a passport may be required. It’s always best to check the specific requirements of your cruise line and itinerary to ensure your child has the proper documentation.
